Stem Zero is NUDE's revolutionary wine glass range, featuring 19 exquisitely fine yet incredibly tough shapes that suit a type of wine instead of a specific grape, simplifying the process of selecting the best glass for the wine.
The mouth-blown, feather-light vessels are made using NUDE's unique ‘Ion Shielding Technology’, a surface modification technique based on an ion-exchange process. Larger ions replace smaller ions in the glass surface, suppressing the micro-fissures that cause glass to crack. The result is exceptionally light yet durable lead-free crystal glass, designed to satisfy the most discerning wine connoisseur. The delicate design brings a weightlessness to the vessel, allowing one to fully savour the aroma and taste of the wine.
The range is complemented by a simple water glass to offer a unified drinking experience.
STEM ZERO GRACE
Stem Zero Grace reinterprets the traditional wine glass into a finer, more elegant shape, channelling the sophistication and refinement synonymous with its Hollywood movie star namesake.
- RED WINE: Drawing inspiration from a classic Bordeaux glass, it features a long, fine bowl designed to accentuate aroma and taste. It's ideal for full-bodied, strong intense reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, and Malbec
- WHITE WINE: The slender, refined shape lends itself to light and medium-bodied white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Chenin Blanc
- SPARKLING WINE: The narrowed and delicate flute of this glass is designed to harness the bouquet aromas and refreshing bubbles of any vintage or natural sparkling wines, as well as elegant champagne cocktails
STEM ZERO VERTIGO
The Vertigo glass collection is characterised by a generous, oval bowl and wide rim, with an extensive selection of styles designed for a variety of different wine types.
- ELEGANT RED WINE: Available in two sizes, 950 and 650 cc, the Elegant Red Wine glass sweeps towards the brim to liberate high-tone perfumes of light and medium-bodied aromatic reds. It's ideal for Burgundy styles obtained from Pinot Noir grapes
- POWERFUL RED WINE: The tall, chimney effect of the Powerful Red funnels wine to the back of the palate to enhance and intensify flavours of full-bodied, tannic reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Zinfandel and Malbec
- FULL BODIED WHITE WINE: Generously wide-rimmed, this glass allows wine to breathe freely and release its aromas to the whole palate. Oaked Chardonnays are ideal for this, alongside Riesling , Pouilly-Fuissé and Smaragd wines
